On November 6th, The Jimmy Lloyd Songwriter Showcase and Planet LA Records hosted an event at The Gibson/Baldwin Showroom in New York City to bring attention to missing and exploited persons in the United States. The afternoon concert brought New York area songwriters out to perform as part of the New York leg of "The Squeaky Wheel Tour" which ties in the songwriter community to the movement to find missing persons.

Ed and Elizabeth Smart were on hand to lend their support and Good Morning America filmed the event to be incorporated into a forthcoming segment on the long-running ABC morning show.

Songwriter Jimmy Lloyd, creator of the Jimmy Lloyd Songwriter Showcase on WNBC (NY Nonstop) takes his TV show into a live setting at the Highline Ballroom!

Jimmy Lloyd, Dorie Colangelo and a selection of other songwriters from the show will play three songs each and chat about the inspiration behind them.

Laura Warshauer opens for Jimmy Lloyd & Friends and the night ends with a performance by Jeffrey Lewis.

Dorie performs her song "The Lonely One" on The Jimmy Lloyd Songwriter Showcase which airs on the WNBC NY Nonstop channel on FRIDAY, MAY 28th, 2010 at 10PM!! The performance was filmed at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in NYC.

Show will also be re-broadcast Saturday, MAY 29th at 11pm and on Sunday, MAY 30th at 12PM.
